How to live a fearless life
“Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn and camp between Migdol and the sea…you shall camp before it by the sea. And Moses said to the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today.’”
Exodus 14:2, 13
Here’s how to feel no fear. How to live a fearless life.
- Listen to God’s voice (through His word)
- Obey His commands (even if it goes against my own selfish will)
- Remember that God led me here when danger comes— I didn’t just end up here; I obeyed! So He will take care of me.
The most difficult part of all this isn’t being courageous when danger comes.
Pharaoh might try to destroy you, mountains might surround you, and the raging sea might be right in front of you — but you don’t need to fear. Just like Moses, you can be sure that God brought you to this place, so He’ll take care of what stands in your way.
“Could we always discern the everlasting arms around and beneath us, there would be no occasion for the exercise of faith. The way of God’s choosing may seem dark, yet it is the surest way to the light. In the midst of apparent disaster and defeat, God’s providence is working out his purposes.”

How to hear God’s voice

How do I know if I’m on the right track? Scripture tells us that God speaks in three different ways to us.

Waiting on God
One of the toughest things in life can be waiting. We all want quick answers to our prayers and sometimes, we feel down if our prayers are not answered right away.
